JCAHO
The Jani-King Environmental Services program was designed with JCAHO quality standards in the forefront. The EVS program utilizes scheduling databases for cleaning and special projects completions and state-of-the-art computer software to track the organizations cleaning processes and to work with the client's quality improvement team. Jani-King will customize benchmarks and reports that are needed to track quality and meet JCAHO standards.
Highlights from the JCAHO tracking program:
- Approved by Infection Control and EOC committee
- Employee cleaning schedules developed and posted procedures for all areas of cleaning
- Special procedures for cleaning operating room, labor and delivery, central sterile and critical care areas
- Approved by the Infection Control Practitioner
- Custom performance improvement program results and reporting monthly
- Using a quality inspection process inspections
- MSDS program that tracks usage and exposure book that indicates the frequency of project cleaning and the completion of task
- Documented preventive maintenance inspection program
