Jani-King’s Healthcare Services Division recently participated in both the Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) Conference in Phoenix and the Physicians Hospitals of America (PHA) Conference in Austin.

The Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) provides outstanding exposure to an audience of almost 2,400 professionals caring for the healthcare environment. Jani-King’s Corporate Champion membership and collaboration with AHE since 2003 continues to promote the advancement of professionals through a commitment to quality patient and resident care having positive outcomes though education, collaboration, knowledge exchange and national healthcare networking. This is evident with AHE’s awarded “Seal of Review and Recognition Program” aimed at Jani-King International’s Environmental Services Healthcare Divisions training and in-service initiatives promoting quality, safety and one of the most favorable outcomes within the environmental services market and its related disciplines.

The AHE Seal of Review and Recognition Program (Seal) ensures that Jani-King International’s training and in-service curricula presented is sound, reliable and adheres to best practices for the environmental services discipline, based on the AHE Practice Guidance for Healthcare Environmental Cleaning and other AHE Recommended practice vetted documents. The (Seal) provides a visual symbol and confirmation of a quality Jani-King Training/Certification Program curriculum that meet on-going “Program” standards in the industry. As of 2012 the AHE (Seal) is embedded on the cover of the newly revised Jani-King International Healthcare Services Operations Guide Volumes 1 and 2 and are available for all regions.

Jani-King of Phoenix shared in the spotlight at the AHE show, participating in networking with over 3,000 hospital and healthcare professionals sharing ideas while building new relationships.

In Austin, TX, Bob Carabajal, Jani-King’s Director of EVS, promoted the healthcare services program at the annual PHA trade show. Jani-King of Austin also participated in the event, taking advantage of one-on-one opportunities to build relationships with physician decision makers regarding their healthcare environmental service needs.

Physician Hospitals of America (PHA) offers support, advocacy, and educational services to the physician-owned hospital industry, reflecting at all times the best interests of the patients, physicians, and other specialty providers who play an inextricable and essential role in the provision of healthcare services.

These associations provide the opportunity for Jani-Kin’s EVS Healthcare Division to engage in dialogue with industry professionals about activities and initiatives in an ever changing industry while being able to share the concept of Jani-King to our customers.www.janiking.com
