this years Tour De Cure.
Wichita, Kansas – Jani-King of Wichita would
like to commend those who participated in the Tour De Cure on
Saturday, May 9th. Tour de Cure is the American Diabetes
Association’s signature fundraising cycling event. With
strong support from the corporate and family teams, this
event raises over $26 million to find a cure for diabetes and
to support their mission.
This year the event was a full day of
support, hard work, and lots of fun! Volunteers worked hard
to pull of the jam packed schedule that was for riders and
bystanders alike. A breakfast was put on, which Jani-King of
Wichita did their small part by donating the orange juice
that helped fuel everyone for the day.
To participate in the Tour De Cure, you can
register and recruit friends or co-workers to ride and raise
money. The day of the event is a chance to ride and to
celebrate the fundraising accomplishments of our teams and
individual participants as well as an opportunity to promote
awareness about diabetes and the American Diabetes
Association.
