Jani-King of Eugene is excited
to announce its participation in the single largest sporting
event in Oregon’s history. From June 27 through July 6, 2008,
Eugene ’08 will host the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials –
Track & Field. The nation”s top track and field athletes
will compete on the hallowed grounds of historic Hayward Field
for a coveted spot on the U.S. Olympic Team at the 2008 Olympic
Games in Beijing.
Jeff Freeman, Master Franchise Owner, Jani-King
of Eugene, met with officials over the past six months in
preparation for the final bid for services and will also play a
key role in sponsoring the event’s festival that takes place
outside of the stadium.
In addition to receiving exposure through
a video board sponsorship and through Jani-King uniformed
representatives cleaning at the event, Freeman plans to
capitalize on the local media exposure by running television
commercials on a local network station.
Because the event been
sold-out for more than a year, the festival that takes place
outside the gates will offer tremendous exposure to those
attending as well as those without tickets. Over 250,000 people
are expected to attend over the two week period. The Eugene 08
Festival will be the focal attraction for spectators, athletes,
and members of the community before, during and after each
competition session.
