“To get the most out of the game day experience for the kids and their families, I worked with Scott DeBolt, Vice President of Operations at The Crew, to get permission for everyone to form a ‘tunnel’ on the field as the players prepared for the start of the game,” said John Rae, Regional Director for Jani-King of Columbus. “A great time was had by all of the kids and parents and we we’re proud to have Jani-King support these important charities in Columbus.”
“Thank you for your very generous gift of Crew tickets,” wrote Jane Jarboe, Director of Family and Volunteer Services at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. “Your donation definitely brightened the day for many families and provided them with a welcomed opportunity to leave the hospital and go cheer on the Crew! Families greatly appreciated your thoughtfulness. Thank you so very much for your support of Nationwide Children’s Hospital and families within our community.”
In addition to being able to support the charities, Jani-King was recognized as a Kick for Kids program sponsor during the game through a live mention in the television broadcast, English and Spanish radio broadcasts and through a public address announcement made during halftime of the game. Jani-King was also listed on TheCrew.com as a sponsor of the Crew Soccer Foundation’s Kicks for Kids program for the 2012 season.
