This year marks the ninth season of the Draft-A-Lion Program for the BC Lions. The Draft a Lion Program provides a limited number of corporate opportunities to draft a BC Lions player and associate with the club that allow businesses to show their support and cheer on local sports
hero’s.
Jani-King of Vancouver is thrilled to announce their BC Lion this year is Hunter Steward. Showing plenty of potential early in his career, Hunter overcame a knee injury in training camp to make his CFL debut on July 12th, 2014 in Saskatchewan. The talented lineman eventually earned the starting role at left tackle and was enjoying a remarkable run over seven games until suffering a season-ending foot injury on Aug 24 versus Saskatchewan. Jani-King is looking forward to Steward’s return to the field in September 2015.
Over the next few months, Steward will be joining the Jani-King team at two events, giving everyone the opportunity to meet a BC Lion one-on-one. The entire Jani-King team looks forward to the promising season ahead. We will all be cheering the BC Lion’s on from the stands or our homes!
