The franchise industry’s premier annual event, the International Franchise Expo (IFE), took place last month in New York with Jani-King on full display in the show’s premier booth space. Located at front and center of the trade show floor, Jani-King continued its investment in opportunities that promote our franchise concept and brand to thousands of visitors from the United States and Internationally.
The IFE brings together hundreds of the franchise industry’s hottest concepts, and thousands of the most qualified prospects from across the United States and over 80 countries around the world. For domestic or international expansion, selling single units, area developments or master franchises – this is the industry’s one stop franchise event. Sponsored by the IFA, assisted by the U.S. Department of Commerce/U.S. Commercial Service, the IFE also offers the industry’s most comprehensive conference program.
“Each year, at three different IFE shows across the nation, Jani-King makes a significant investment to ensure that our brand is promoted on a local and global scale,” said Jerry Crawford, CEO and President of Jani-King International. “Additionally, several of our executives attend meetings during these shows and we sponsor networking events to position Jani-King as one of the world’s top franchise systems.”
Jani-King representatives included Mr. Crawford, Mary Crawford, Ted Looney, Gil Sanchez, Clay Sturdivant, Jane Tapken and Devin Rentz. Each member of the Jani-King team contributed in the booth, discussing the Jani-King opportunity with potential unit and master franchisees.
“We received significant leads for unit franchises, domestic master franchises and international master franchises,” said Clay Sturdivant, Director of Franchising for Jani-King International. “Those leads have been distributed to the appropriate regions and we look forward to signing new franchisees through the efforts put forth at this year’s IFE show.”
In addition to the trade show, Jani-King was also one of three sponsors of an evening river cruise which hosted international attendees. The unique event allowed Jani-King representatives to network with potential franchisees in a relaxed setting as the group cruised around lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
