“Debbie Sinopoli began her career immediately upon graduating from the University of San Diego with a degree in Business Administration. In 1989, she was hired for the position of Assistant Operations Manager at Jani-King of San Francisco and soon became the Operations Manager. From there, Debbie advanced through sales positions with Jani-King offices in Oakland, San Francisco and Sacramento,eventually being promoted to Regional Director when the Oakland and San Francisco offices merged. In 2003, Debbie became a master franchise owner, purchasing the rights to Kansas City. Over the last 12 years, Debbie has opened up additional regional offices while mentoring hundreds of franchise owners throughout the Kansas, Missouri Nebraska, and Iowa area. Best business advice you have ever received? Surround yourself with good people. Part of that is surrounding yourself with people who think differently than you. Surrounding yourself with people who have different experiences than you. In business it is all about the team.
Worst business advice you have ever received? If you want it done right, be prepared to do it yourself.

What do you enjoy about Jani-King? Relationships I have made. There are some great people in and out of this organization and I know life is richer and I cannot imagine my life without them.
What do you enjoy about the franchise industry? The people that I meet and believing that what we do matters and will make a difference. The feeling of knowing you’ve made a difference in someone’s life is priceless!
What would you like to see changed in business? Equality; achieving equality will require a concerned and collaborative effort from everyone.
Favorite vacation spot? Amalfi Coast, Italy.
Favorite hobby/activity? Traveling and boating. Both allow my body to recharge and bring calmness to my life. When I am recharged, I am personally happier and mentally healthier, more connected and it makes me better at what I need to do personally and professionally.
Best restaurant and what would you order? Mama’s Fish House in Maui. Wasahi crusted calamari,mahi mahi, stuffed with lobster and crab, baked in a macadamia nut crust with a nice bottle of Cake bread Chardonnay!
