For the past several
years, Jani-King of Rhode Island has been a service partner to
one of the biggest charity events in Rhode Island — the CVS
Charity Golf Classic. The event, hosted by PGA TOUR professionals
Brad Faxon and Billy Andrade, is held each year at the Rhode
Island Country Club in Barrington. This high-profile event not
only attracts some of the top golfers in the world, but also golf
legends like Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Lee Trevino.
Over
the years, Jani-King Franchisee Robson Valotto has cleaned the
portable skyboxes used by local corporations to entertain guests
during the week of golf. This year, due to Jani-King’s
partnership with the PGA TOUR, Jani-King of Rhode Island was
contacted to handle the cleaning of all skyboxes, media tents and
portable offices; and to provide day porter services throughout
the tournament.
“Robson did a great job of putting together
the crew for the job, everyone was in a Jani-King/PGA TOUR golf
shirt, and he personally supervised service each day,” said
Gordon Hoover, Master Franchise Owner for Jani-King of Rhoda
Island. “Using walkie-talkies, Robson and his crew
communicated with tournament managers and responded to their
needs hour-by-hour.”
Following the conclusion of the
tournament, Tournament Manager Sean Sullivan commented he was
thrilled with the efforts of Valotto and Jani-King: “The
Jani-King team did a great job,” said Sullivan. “There
were no complaints about the cleaning and everyone was so helpful
in ensuring that any problems would be taken care of quickly. The
tournament enjoyed working with Mr. Valotto and the entire
Jani-King team and we look forward to another successful event
next year.”
