(New
Orleans, LA)
Continuing their success in the educational facilities market, Jani-King of New
Orleans, a master franchise region of Jani-King International, has recently
signed a contract with the Algiers Charter Schools Association to provide a
multitude of services within their system.
In all, there are nine schools that equal more than 750 thousand square
feet including schools, administrative buildings and athletic facilities. For the Gulf Coast region, the account has
the potential to become a springboard for other school accounts throughout the
area.
“All eyes are on the performance of the franchisees
and support staff in New Orleans,” said JJ O’Neil, Regional Director for
Jani-King of New Orleans. “There are
some long standing deficiencies with other companies that service school
facilities throughout New Orleans, so the other district officials are very
interested in evaluating Jani-King’s success with the Algiers charter schools.”
In conjunction with the Orleans Parish School Board, the Algiers Charter
Schools Association (ACSA) established charter schools to address the needs of
families living on the West Bank of New Orleans and, to the best of their
abilities, those families throughout the East Bank as well who are looking for
educational alternatives.
Jani-King of New Orleans unit franchisee
Randall Hithe will serve as the project manager for the new account. Hithe has extensive experience providing
services to educational facilities including Xavier University and St.
Augustine High School among many other accounts.
