Addison, TX – Jani-King’s corporate healthcare services team is excited to announce its latest partnership as a preferred vendor with Select Medical Holding’s Corporation. Select Medical is a leading operator of specialty hospitals and outpatient rehabilitation clinics in the United States. Select Medical operates long term acute care hospitals and acute medical rehabilitation hospitals in 28 states and outpatient rehabilitation clinics in 32 states and the District of Columbia.
According to Bob Carabajal, Corporate Director of Healthcare Services at Jani-King, the partnership is already providing new business to Jani-King with many opportunities across the country for our regional offices and franchisees.
“The preferred vendor agreement includes 700 potential properties in the U.S., some of which have already been awarded to Jani-King,” said Carabajal. “As we develop this relationship further, our healthcare services department team will be reaching out to the regional offices that will be impacted with opportunities for new business.
Jani-King franchisees will have opportunities to provide full environmental services for both inpatient and outpatient facilities. The inpatient facilities include hospitals that range in size from 30-bed facilities to 100-bed facilities. The outpatient locations include physician practices offices, sports and physical therapy centers, clinics, surgery centers and other similar type medical facilities.
“Select Medical was looking for was a service partner’s ability to use technology as a means to inspect (i.e. Jani-King’s custom mobile application –MoGo), ATP testing, a single point of contact having subject matter expertise (SME) with Environmental Services on a national level and the ability to track and process service requests, work orders and other service metrics specific to each facility. Select Medical wanted a service partner company that could meet and champion key performance indicators (KPI’s) and have the ability to standardize and handle their business on a national level. Jani-King is that company.”
