Over the last three years, The Snooty Fox has lost customers and money month after month, forcing him to dip into his kids’ college funds just to stay afloat. His wife Kathy sums it up. “We just have not survived this economy,” she says. “We are out of options.” If circumstances don’t change within the next few months, they say they will lose everything.
Hope comes in the form of top chef and restaurateur, Restaurant: Impossible’s Robert Irvine, who will attempt to transform The Snooty Fox in just two days. Evaluating the dining area first, he notes that poor restaurant cleaning could be keeping customers at bay. He’s alerted to the room’s stale smell and the dirty, old looking carpeting; also, the chairs need cleaning and dust blankets the ceiling. After pointing out design changes that should be made, Chef moves on to the kitchen where he is blown away.
The kitchen’s walls are stained, the refrigerators moldy, and dust is everywhere; grease coats the cooking equipment, and mountains of gunk has been collected where the floors meets the walls. Chef exclaims that this is one of the most disgusting kitchens he’s ever seen, and immediately shuts it down. The severe condition of the kitchen requires him to recruit Jani-King Commercial Cleaning to begin deep restaurant cleaning procedures.
